On Thursday 9th October 2003, I flew from Manchester to Stockholm and then from Stockholm to Ostersund to stay with my friends Maggan and Janne Kallin of Peavey's Devon Rex and their delightful cats (two of which are bred by me!)

Early on Friday morning we left Ostersund and travelled for around 4 and a half hours to Sater for the Dalavskattens show. We spent Friday and Saturday night in Sater, along with Anna-Karin Rahm of Curlicue's Devon Rex and Gunn Eriksson of Solkusten's Devon Rex, in an exquisite spot overlooking the lake.

The show was an interesting experience, all the pens were decorated and the cats were taken to the judging rings by their owners - all so well behaved! I was very impressed!

After judging, I was very fortunate to be invited to attend the General Meeting of Rex United and meet many more breeders of Cornish Rex and Devon Rex.

Sunday morning came and we travelled back to Ostersund where I stayed with Maggan and Janne until I returned home on Tuesday 14th October.
